KRISTAL-CLEAR™ is a thermoplastic polyester sheet of the highest quality, designed in Italy and manufactured by Covestro, a Bayer Group company.
KRISTAL-CLEAR does not contain Bisphenol and is 100% biocompatible.
Since the polyester used in this product is non-hygroscopic, KRISTAL-CLEAR does not require any pre-drying.

PROTECTIVE FILM
KRISTAL-CLEAR is covered with protective blue film on one side and transparent film on the other side. The transparent film creates a very thin insulating layer to maintain maximum transparency of the material and to facilitate the detachment of the product from the model once moulded.
PRESSURE MOLDING TECHNIQUE
Before moulding, the blue film must be removed. The side of the disc with the transparent film must remain in contact with the model. The transparent film can be easily removed from the model after moulding. To achieve a more precise result and a more resistant product, it is advisable to use pressure moulding machines and treat the model in granules. KRISTAL-CLEAR™ binds with acrylic resins, however, for a better result we recommend using cold resin and a primer specifically designed for cold resins.
FINISHING
After moulding, the KRISTAL-CLEAR™ sheet can be cut with scissors. Refinement can be achieved using any cutter normally used for resin appliances. The edges can be smoothed with a brush cutter. KRISTAL-CLEAR™ sheets must be kept away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
